A Thousand Seats. One Night. George Strait’s Texas Flood Benefit Concert Sells Out Instantly And the Ticket Price Isn’t What Shocked Fans Most.

George Strait Announces Benefit Concert for Texas Flood Victims. Country music icon George Strait is organizing a special benefit concert and dinner called “Strait To The Heart” to support those affected by the recent devastating floods in Texas Hill Country. The event will take place on Sunday, July 27, at the Estancia at Thunder Valley indoor arena in Boerne, Texas.

Strait is partnering with longtime friend and business partner Tom Cusick to host the evening. Strait shared that the destruction from the floods is overwhelming, and the goal is to raise immediate, meaningful support for flood victims while honoring the first responders who have worked tirelessly to protect the community.

Cusick emphasized the urgency, saying this is a moment for Texans—and all Americans—to come together. The concert lineup includes George Strait himself and many well-known country artists such as William Beckman, Ray Benson, Wade Bowen, Dean Dillon, Riley Green, Randy Houser, Jamey Johnson, Kyle Park, Hudson Westbrook, and members of Strait’s Ace in the Hole Band.

The event is intimate, with only 1,000 tickets available starting at $1,000 each. Complimentary tickets will be given to local first responders as a thank-you for their service.

All proceeds will go to the Vaqueros del Mar Texas Flood Relief Fund, a certified nonprofit that will distribute funds directly to affected families and local aid organizations.

George Strait has a strong history of charity work, including previous benefit concerts. His message remains clear: come together, help where you can, and lead with heart.
